Early detection examination of the abdominal aorta

Dr Kusenack offers early detection examination of the abdominal aorta

An abdominal aortic aneurysm can have serious consequences: If the aorta suddenly bursts, it is often too late for life-saving surgery. And in many cases, even this no longer promises to save lives. Since January 2018, men over the age of 65 have therefore been able to undergo a preventive examination that uses ultrasound to detect dangerous protrusions of the aorta at an early stage. Dr Kusenack also offers this pain-free screening in his vascular practice in Düsseldorf.

Abdominal aortic aneurysm is a serious condition, which we also cover on our services page Abdominal aortic aneurysm provide detailed information.
