I offer you the entire spectrum of arterial and venous vascular medicine and the Lipoedema treatment to.
Surgical treatment of your varicose veins is performed on an outpatient basis and preferably under local anaesthetic. Spider veins and smaller Varicose veins I use liquid or foam sclerotherapy in my practice.
I will advise and treat you for lipoedema or lipohypertrophy and, if indicated, carry out liposuction (liposuction) according to the stage of the disease.

As a private doctor, I also treat patients with statutory health insurance, but only on a self-pay basis. Unfortunately, patients with statutory health insurance cannot claim the costs of my examination or treatment from their health insurance company. The prices for my treatment can be viewed transparently on my website under „Patients with statutory health insurance“. Invoicing is based on the German Medical Fee Schedule (GOÄ) and does not differentiate according to insurance status, i.e. patients with private or statutory health insurance will of course receive the same invoice for the same service. However, private patients can submit the invoice to their health insurance company for reimbursement.
We offer a wide range of services, from general vascular diagnostics of the veins and arteries in the neck, arms, abdomen and legs to the various treatment options for varicose veins, in particular minimally invasive and gentle techniques including mini-phlebectomy. We diagnose and treat thromboses and sclerose spider veins. The second major area of our range of services is the diagnosis and treatment of lipoedema, including stage-appropriate liposuction under outpatient conditions. However, patients without lipoedema also undergo liposuction in our practice - but then for cosmetic reasons.
If you have any previous findings relating to your complaints from earlier examinations, it is advisable to bring these with you to the initial consultation. You are also welcome to bring a relative with you to the consultation or treatment. This gives you the opportunity to reflect on one or two points after our consultation. It also helps many patients to reduce their anxiety before and during the consultation or treatment.
I have been treating vascular diseases surgically and conservatively as a doctor since 1996. For many years I was head of a clinic for vascular surgery at a university hospital in North Rhine-Westphalia. As a specialist in surgery, vascular surgery and phlebology, I have a wealth of experience in surgical treatment. For every new patient in our practice, we take about 1 hour to prepare a precise diagnosis and individual treatment plan. Many patients also come to me for a second opinion. I perform all procedures on an outpatient basis in my practice, i.e. the patient does not have to go to another location (e.g. hospital or surgery centre) for treatment.
