Blutgerinnsel. Aber auch die Beckenvenen oder die untere gro\u00dfe Hohlvene (Vena cava) k\u00f6nnen von der Thrombose betroffen sein. Der fehlende Blutr\u00fcckfluss zum Herzen erzeugt dann die <strong>erkennbare Schwellung der betroffenen Extremit\u00e4t<\/strong>.<\/p><p>F\u00fcr die Diagnostik kommt die Ultraschalluntersuchung zum Einsatz, mit der die Blutgef\u00e4\u00dfe in den Beinen <strong>bildlich dargestellt<\/strong> werden k\u00f6nnen. Sie ist <strong>schmerzfrei<\/strong> und v\u00f6llig <strong>ungef\u00e4hrlich<\/strong>. L\u00e4sst sich die Vene mit dem Schallkopf dabei leicht zusammendr\u00fccken, besteht keine Thrombose. In Abh\u00e4ngigkeit von der Lage und der Ausdehnung der Thrombose erfolgt dann eine Blutverd\u00fcnnung zwischen 6 Wochen und 6 Monaten oder bei Bedarf auch lebenslang &#8211; je nach Schweregrad der Thrombose. Das Tragen eines Kompressionsstrumpfes an Bein oder Arm hilft gegen die Schwellung und die Beschwerden und scheint den Abbau des Blutgerinnsels zu beschleunigen. Eine station\u00e4re Behandlung einer Thrombose ist heutzutage nicht mehr erforderlich. Die entsprechenden Umfelduntersuchungen zur Ursachenabkl\u00e4rung der Thrombose werden von mir eingeleitet und erfolgen in aller Regel durch den Hausarzt. Manchmal besteht auch eine genetische Veranlagung f\u00fcr eine Thrombosebildung, dies kann jedoch nur durch eine entsprechende gro\u00dfen Gerinnungsdiagnostik festgestellt werden.
